DESCRIPTION:Time : 5:00PM – 7:00PM CDT on Tue —\n\n\n\nThis 8-week Zoom class is for beginner students who want to learn a structural and form-based approach to drawing portraits. We will meet once a week and work from photos and masterworks and discuss how to set up a linear block-in and how to render the illusion of three-dimensional form. Through critiques and demonstrations\, we will focus on understanding the structure and perspective of the head in space\, mechanics of light and form\, and proportions and likeness of the model. An optional assignment and supplementary material will be given weekly. DESCRIPTION:6:00PM – 9:00PM CDT on Tue\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor the joy of getting your hands in the clay! Come learn how to sculpt from life. I have just returned from 3 months of extended study in gorgeous\, inspiring\, Florence\, Italy! And I cannot wait to share all my knowledge. In this class you will learn the basics\, and more. To be able to see anatomy\, check the bony landmarks for accuracy\, “draw” the negative spaces and dance with the rhythms and flow.
