SUMMARY:Class #212: Drawing the Facial Features with Addison Xu
DESCRIPTION:Time : 5:30PM – 7:30PM CDT on Mon —\n\n\n\nThis 8-week Zoom drawing class will focus on individual features of the face: the eyes\, nose\, mouth\, ears\, and hair. We’ll meet once a week and spend 1-2 sessions per feature. We will work on toned paper with pencil and chalk and explore their anatomy\, form\, simplification\, and other related topics. We’ll learn from photos of models as well as masterworks. Each session will be half demonstration and half class critique\, and the class will be recorded. \n\nSpecial Notes \n\nZoom class\nNo class on 9/7.\n\n\n\nRequired Supplies \n\nPencils (Range of hardnesses from about HB-2B)\, white chalk\, sandpaper and razor blade (for sharpening pencils)\, toned paper\, kneaded eraser\, drawing board
