6:00 PM – 9:00PM CDT on Wed.Class activities include: Art anatomy presentations with active learning through quick sketch drawing from live models, video presentations, & muscle and skeletal models. Topics covered include: Torso, shoulder blade & pelvic bone features, muscles, joints & fat distribution. Proportions, perspective and aspect will contribute to the anatomy of individual forms. Layman’s terms will augment or replace scientific terminology whenever possible. Class goals are to improve the accuracy, and to enliven, the participant’s drawing of the body’s core area through better understanding of the torso and its attachments to the shoulder blade and pelvis.
Future classes will cover different sections of the body including: 1) Upper extremity, 2) Lower Extremity, and Head/Neck areas.
- The class will meet in our coach house studio (rear building).
